Releasing updates of Firefox 3 Beta1, 2, 3 & future version Firefox 4.0

The Firefox 3 Beta 1, was released by the Mozilla Organization on 19th November 2007 having a code name Gran Paradiso & it has a support of the Gecko layout engine having version 1.9. All the three versions of the third stage of the Firefox have a codename called as Gran Paradiso. So in this article our central stage of the discussion will be release of Firefox 3 Beta1,2, 3 & future version Firefox 4.0.

This second stage Beta version is completely released for the software testing. Also while developing & before the releasing the Firefox 3 Beta1, the Mozilla developers asked the Mozilla net users about their feedback, feature request about the version which will be included in the next version of the Firefox 3.

There is the planning of the three beta releases in the next year by the Mozilla Organization. The second beta release will be on 21st December 2007 & it is projected that there will be release of the Firefox 3 in the early stages of 2008.

The second beta version will also have a support of the Gecko layout engine having version 1.9 & it will also has a same code name like Gran Paradiso. The third version will also have a support of the Gecko layout version 1.9 & having a same codename i.e. Gran Paradiso.

Though the first beta release is the pre-release version of the Mozilla Firefox, the upcoming versions of the beta releases will be the future version of the Mozilla Firefox 3. If we consider the development of the Mozilla Firefox after release of version2.0, it is expected that the future versions of the Mozilla be in development stage.

There are various advanced features which is included in the future & pre-release versions of Mozilla Firefox i.e. Firefox3 Beta1. One of the advanced relevant changes is the implementation of Gecko1.9 layout engine, which is restructured.

Also in the Firefox 3 Beta1, there is the inclusion of the new feature that is assistance for the web applications, which is offline, XMLHttpRequest that is cross-site, and assistance for APNG support.

There is the support of the operating system like Windows XP for the all-future version of the Firefox3 Beta1 & support for next beta releases. There is the inclusion of the Firefox3 Download Manager in Windows XP.

The next future version of the Mozilla Firefox is the version 4.0. This fourth version of the Firefox is based on the Firefox 2.0, which is the platform of the Firefox4.0. According to Brendan Eich who is the chief technology officer of the Mozilla Organization, the Firefox 2 will be the base for the Mozilla Firefox 4.0.

There are various changes in this fourth version of the Mozilla Firefox. These modifications are inclusion of the advancement & avoidance of the XPCOM API, shifting to advanced C++ features, development of the Tamarin project which is also known as the compilation with JavaScript 2 & also inclusion of the tool-time & runtime safety checks.

There is assistance for the previous versions of the Firefox from the Mozilla for six months after a latest version is obtainable. Therefore, because of this, the version like Firefox 1.0 arrived its end of life on April 13, 2006 & at the same day; there was the release of the version 1.0.8. In addition, like that, the version like Firefox 1.5 completed its end of life on May 30, 2007 & at the same day; there was the release of the version 1.5.0.12.
