Mozilla Firefox with its File Menu

The seven menus in the Mozilla Firefox are incorporated with several web-browsing applications. In every menu, we can see various types of sub-menus, which are used in the daily net accessing work.

File: This is the first Menu of the Menu bar of the Mozilla Firefox, which is situated on the Menu bar. In menu bar, we can see various sub-menus, which are placed with various shortcut keys.

The first option or sub-menu in the File menu of the Mozilla Firefox is New Window, which is mainly used to open or display the new window of the Mozilla Firefox. It is also incorporated with shortcut key like Ctrl+N. Therefore, anybody wants to open his website, its URL or link in the new window, and then this is the option suitable for him.

However, as Firefox facilitates its user with feature like tabbed browsing; most of the users use tabs to navigate from one page to another.

New Tab with Ctrl + T: This is the second option in the Menu bar, which is also used as a substitute for its first option New Window. Therefore, the user can open the new window of the Mozilla Firefox by activating the option like New Tab. This second option can be activated by using the shortcut key like Ctrl+ T.

After completing the net accessing work, when a user wants to close this window or new tab of Firefox, the small window appears on the screen. It informs you how much tabs or windows are opened by you. Therefore, after clicking the button Close Tabs, you can directly close the Firefox window. Hence, it really saves the time to close the all window of Firefox step-by step.

Open Location: By activating this option, a Firefox user can directly go to the location bar and type the name of any site, URL or link in that location bar. Also by using the shortcut key like Ctrl+L, the user can quickly go through this location bar.

Open File: While accessing the internet through Firefox, a user can navigate to other drives of the system by using this Open file option. In addition, he can open his previous accessed and downloaded data, which he is saved by him on other locations of the system. This data can see by activating this option. A user can activate this function by using a shortcut key Ctrl+O.

By using this option, a user can share the data from the other computers, which are in LAN network. Therefore, it is the useful option to view the previous accessed data from the internet at any time.

Close: The function of this option and the Close button on the title bar is similar. By activating this Close button, we can shut off the Window. Therefore, to turning off the Firefox window, a user can select the Close option from the File menu and close the Firefox window. In addition, he can use Ctrl+ W, shortcut key to close the Mozilla Firefox Window.

Ctrl+S for Save Page As: While accessing any information from the internet, sometimes, it is essential for the net user to save that data for its future use. It really saves the time of accessing the internet and gives relevant information. By using this option, the user can save the web pages, URLs, links, images, wallpapers that are accessed from the internet and useful in future.

By using this option, a user can save this internet data on any location of its system. The user can use the shortcut key, Ctrl+S to activate this option. So always, remember to activate this option before signing out any website.
