There are many who would state the multiple tab feature of Mozilla Firefox as the first advantage that Mozilla Firefox provides. However, the advantages of Mozilla Firefox begin to make an impression even before the Mozilla Firefox web browser is installed onto our computer. Just one look at the installation files of Mozilla Firefox and we are bowled over. I have never seen such a convenient, effective, useful and classy web browsing software application to have a setup file that occupied less than five MB of computer space.

I am sure that any and every person who has a basic knowledge about computers would agree that if such a functional web browsing software application can be installed by a setup file that is less than five MB in size, this is nothing short of a wonder. In fact, when Mozilla Firefox was first released, the fact that its installation insulation was less than five MB in size actually worked against its favor. Most of the people simply presumed that any web browsing software application that had an installation file as small as this must not be worth looking at. People simply presumed that a large installation file is the hallmark of a good web browsing software application.

If you want to compare the installation file of Mozilla Firefox with that of the market leader- Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, you will be very surprised to know that the installation file of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is not less than eighty MB in size. On one hand, you have a web browsing software application that can be installed with a setup file that is less than five MB in size. On the other hand, you have the monolith Internet Explorer that has a larger than eighty MB installation file. Now either Mozilla Firefox should be a very average web browsing software application or Microsoft's Internet Explorer must be too big for its own good. Unfortunately for Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, the latter is true as Mozilla Firefox has been recognized as one of the best web browser software applications around today
