The Firefox community and its inclusive approach separates Mozilla Firefox from the rest!!

Even the toughest critic of the Firefox web browsing software application is forced to acknowledge that it will be impossible for any web browsing software application to catch up with Mozilla Firefox and bring it down. There are many reasons why the Firefox web browsing software application will always remain far ahead of its competition.

The first reason why the Firefox web browsing software application will always remain ahead of its competition is the presence of the vibrant and active Firefox community on the internet. The existence of communities for open source software applications is not a new phenomenon. If the software application in question is an open source software application, the end users of the software application come together to exchange information, tips and knowledge about the software application. Since the software application’s source code can be modified by the end user as and when one desires, it is natural for the end users of the software application to come together to form a knowledge club. The same has happened in case of the Firefox web browsing software application as well. However, the Firefox of community is a bit different as compared to the communities of other open source software applications. For starters, only a handful of software applications have a community as vibrant and as active as the Firefox community. Other software applications too have communities but the communities are dominated by a few individuals and the, if ever, cater to the requirements of the ordinary end users.

More often than not, the community of other software applications ends up as an elite club where only those individuals who know how to modify the source code and individuals who are aware of the technical aspects of the functioning of the software application are allowed. On the other hand, the Firefox web browsing software application’s community a lot more inclusive.

There are innumerable instances where individuals using the Firefox web browsing software application have made use of the Firefox community to extract more from the Firefox web browsing software application. At no point of time has any attempt been made to restrict the entry of the ordinary end users into the Firefox community. This is the one reason why the Firefox web browsing software application is so popular. When the Firefox web browsing software application began to become popular, the critics of the web browsing software application opined that the open source nature of the software application would alienate the ordinary end users.

The supporters of the Internet Explorer web browsing software application held that the end users would be completely lost and devoid of support when using the Firefox web browsing software application. However, that is not the case with Mozilla Firefox. Not only are the developers of the Firefox web browsing software application extremely cooperative and user friendly in their approach but the other end users of the Firefox web browsing software application too have not taken an elitist approach. Rather, the other end users of the Firefox web browsing software application have done their best to include the ordinary end users of the web browsing software application in the Firefox community. Te developers of other software applications may take on the mind of the developers of Mozilla Firefox and may actually bring them down. It is possible that a concentrated effort by the developers of competing web browsing software applications can actually surpass the efforts of the developers of Mozilla Firefox. However, the developers of software applications will find it very difficult to compete with the combined might of millions of end users of Mozilla Firefox.
