The easy customization of the search bar in Mozilla Firefox enhances the enjoyment of the end user!!!!

The reason why Mozilla Firefox incorporated the search bar in its web browsing software application was the fact that multiple search engines on the internet had made it very difficult for the end user to search for information with ease and convenience. By offering the search bar, Mozilla Firefox made the task of searching for information on the internet a lot easier.

However, the search bar feature in Mozilla Firefox was so popular and people added so many features that end users began facing problems in using the same. Mozilla Firefox offered the feature of adding search engines to the search bar. Mozilla Firefox has always followed the policy of letting the end user make most of the choices.

Mozilla has never worked under the presumption that a group of individuals developing the web browser can be completely aware of the requirements of the end users. The developers of Mozilla Firefox have always been aware of the fact that the internet is a very dynamic world. A feature made available today to cater to the requirements of the end users may become an obsolete feature the very next day.

The developers of Mozilla Firefox were aware that a feature that is very advantageous today may become an obstacle to the web browsing experience of the end users in a short span of time.Since the developers were aware that trying to control the growth of the Internet is similar to controlling a hurricane, they kept Mozilla Firefox as open ended as possible.

At no point of time was any attempt made to define the limits of the Firefox web browser. The source code was open for all to see and use. Hence, each and every aspect of the functioning of the web browser was open to modification and change. The developers did not attempt to restrain or restrict the freedom of the users to suggest changes to the original Firefox web browser.

The developers of Mozilla Firefox encouraged the Firefox extensions feature. The end users made use of this feature to complete the web browser in a manner that was most suitable to their requirements and needs. That is the reason why the developers of Mozilla Firefox incorporated the feature of addition of search engines to the search bar in the Firefox web browser.

The developers knew that a search engine that was a popular today may not remain popular in the future. Further, a search engine that is not very popular today may become popular in the future. Hence, the end users were given the option of adding and removing search engines from the search bar. If the end user of Mozilla Firefox does not wish to use the Google search engine to search for information on the internet, he or she is free to remove the search engine from the search toolbar.

It is needless to say that this feature was widely appreciated. The best part about using Mozilla Firefox is the fact that each and every end user is in complete control of the final web browsing experience. At no point of time is the web browser user forced to enjoy an experience that he or she does not desire to experience. If the end user does not want a particular feature, all he or she needs to do is to download an extension that blocks the feature.

Or, if the end user is knowledgeable in programming languages, he or she can alter the source code to get rid of the unwanted feature. If you do not like the list of search engines incorporated by default in the Firefox search bar, you can easily remove the existing list and include the search engines of your choice.
