Today, the Internet is a huge market place where goods and services are sold and purchased. Now, one of the most integral components of commercial transactions in today's world is advertisement. Whenever you manufacture something, you advertise the same. The moment you want buy something, you advertise the same.
More often than not, advertisement serves as the bridge between the buyer and the seller. If you have noticed, all popular web sites are not just information bearing websites but act as trading sites as well. Hence, these sites resort to advertisements to attract more customers. As long as I have the right to choose whether I want to view the advertisement or not, everything is fine. However, the moment the owner of the web site forces the advertisement on me without my consent and without caring about my privacy; I certainly do have a problem with that. The owners are websites make use of Popup windows to display their advertisements. The moment you click one the name of a web site, a new window opens along with the website. This popup window contains advertisements related to the web site. In the past, you had no other option than to silently close one window after the other. However, that was the past. Today, Mozilla Firefox offers you a permanent solution. Mozilla Firefox is a web browsing software application that comes with an inbuilt popup window blocker. Hence, the moment the popup window pops up, it is blocked and you are allowed to continue with your Internet surfing without any interruptions. I would rate this is one of the biggest advantages of Mozilla Firefox. It is truly an instance of a software application catering to the needs and requirements of the surfers of the Internet
