When Mozilla Firefox was first introduced in the market, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer had a stranglehold on the web browsing market with its market share exceeding ninety percentage of the total web browsing market in the world. That is to say, for every ten computers that accessed the internet, nine of them would be using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer to surf the internet.
However, once the web browser software application named Mozilla Firefox hit the internet, there was no looking back. And the web browsing software industry was never the same again
In a typical David vs Goliath saga, Mozilla Firefox went on to beat Microsoft’s Internet Explorer comprehensive. Today, Mozilla Firefox is ahead of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer on all counts.
