Mozilla Firefox- Is antivirus software integration essential??
I have come across many users of Mozilla Firefox who are very concerned about the ability to think that Mozilla Firefox with antivirus software applications. Such is the popularity of Microsoft Internet explorer that people cannot visualize other pros if it does not require integration with the antivirus software application. My personal opinion is that there is no need for integration of an anti virus software application with Mozilla Firefox web browser. I can safely stick my neck out and make such a statement because I know that Mozilla Firefox and its installation does not result in the high level of integration of the web browsing software application with the operating system of the computer. On the other hand, Internet Explorer and its installation results in a high level of integration with the operating system of the computer. Simply put, any virus entering the computer through Internet Explorer will not only affect the web browsing software application but can make use of the high level of integration of the web browsing software application with the operating system to enter and corrupt the important system files of the operating system as well.
I am not saying that Mozilla Firefox is completely safe and will never be affected by viruses. All I am saying is that even if Mozilla Firefox is affected by viruses, the chances of that virus affecting the vital system and hidden files of the operating system are very remote. At best, your antivirus software application will discover the virus and remove the same. At worst, you will be required to uninstall Mozilla Firefox from your computer and install it again. Considering the damage that viruses do to our computers and especially our operating systems, the fact that Mozilla Firefox blocks the entry of the virus into the operating system is something to be very happy about.
