It is a rat race and even Mozilla Firefox is a rat!!!
While there is no doubt that I am very happy at the fact that Mozilla Firefox is becoming so popular, I do feel perturbed at the fact that the majority of the new users of Mozilla Firefox are those who are completely dissatisfied with Microsoft's Internet Explorer as a web browsing software application.
The reason why I am disturbed by this tendency is that Mozilla Firefox will be forced to keep in mind at all times that all its users will not hesitate to choose another web browsing software application if the other browsing software application offers features that are better as compared to Mozilla Firefox. At the end of the day, if there is anything that matters, it is performance.
Simply put, Mozilla Firefox should not let the high growth rates go to its head and it should not think that it has won the war. Mozilla Firefox should always keep in mind that the customers who came in hordes from Microsoft’s Internet Explorer are the same user who will not hesitate to shift from Mozilla Firefox to any other web browser that promises more and delivers the same.
At any point of time, the individual is bothered about his advantage and benefits and otherwise has not loyalty with Mozilla Firefox. The individual uses computers to make his life better and a web browser that does not do so will be rejected. It would not be incorrect to say that Microsoft’s Internet Explorer made the mistake of taking customer loyalty for granted. For a brief period of time, I think they made the mistake of believing that the customer would never leave them even if they provide poor service. It took Mozilla Firefox and its phenomenal rise to wake Microsoft's Internet Explorer up and realize that the one that does not perform will perish.
