I have a small request to make to all those persons who surf the Internet using web browsing software applications. All I am asking you to do is to double click on the icon that will start your Mozilla Firefox web browsing software application and double click the icon that will start the Internet Explorer web browsing software application. In each case, please time the duration that each and every web browsing software application takes to load and become operational. Irrespective of the computer that you have, irrespective of the processor that you run, irrespective of the size of hard disk, irrespective of the RAM in your computer, you will notice that Internet explorer loads much faster than Mozilla Firefox.
If the difference in the time taken by the two web browsing software applications to load was not very high, it would not have made much of a difference. However, if you notice, Microsoft’s Internet explorer loads much earlier than Mozilla Firefox. To some, this may not seem like that big a deal. However, this difference in time taken by the Internet Explorer to load and Mozilla Firefox to load is the source of a lot of irritation and criticism.
The truth of the matter is that very few people bother to consider amount of time taken in the web browser to load. More often than not, people blame their computer or the speed of the processor for the delay. This approach results in a scenario where a flaw in the web browsing software application is not known to the people at all. If there is a flaw in the Mozilla Firefox web browsing software application that is not known, then it is obvious that any person downloading and using Mozilla Firefox in the hope that it will work in a flawless manner will be disappointed. Hence, if the user of the web browsing software application is to make an informed choice, all the flaws should be stated very clearly.
