Ever wondered why Mozilla Firefox web browser is so slow to start?- III

Now I am not an expert in computer related matters. I must confess that I am not an expert in software programming and related matters. Hence, without going into the technical details, I will try to explain the reason why Firefox web browsing software application is relatively slow to start and run as compared to Microsoft's Internet Explorer.

For the successful loading and operation of any software application, there are a set of files that have to be loaded and made operational. The time taken by the software application to load and become operational is the time that is taken by the computer to load the startup files for that software application. Let us imagine a scenario where the software application requires ten system files to be loaded and operational for the application to start. Now, would it help if five of those system files were in operation all the time? The obvious answer is yes. If five of the system files required for loading of the software application are already loaded, the computer will need to load just five files instead of the original ten.

This will cut the time taken by the computer to load the software application by half. Now the question arises- how can the five files be loaded in perpetuity? The best way to keep the systems files required to load the particular software operational in perpetuity is to use the same files for the operation of the operating system of the computer. When the operating system loads, the five system files would get loaded and would remain loaded. When the software application is run, only five files need to be loaded. Today, it is impossible for you to run a software application without running the operating system first. This is something that Mozilla Firefox cannot achieve. That is why it takes more time to load.
