One more thing I found intresting about firefox is its dictionary add on. I never have fear about misspelling any word even though I am non english speaker.

A dictionary is one thing I always need. I have never been able to spell very well. I usually have a word processor open when ever I'm typing something so I can use it to check my spelling. Then I have to copy and paste everything. With a built in dictionary, I can cut out that step and speed things up a bit.

Having the spell check feature in almost any window is wonderful. Especially since I can even check the more obscure language that I use (Welsh) without having to switch programs.

Are you talking about Dictionary Tooltip? I love this plugin so much! :-) English is my first language but I still rely on it. I hate mispelled words.

Yeah it does make it some much more easiar than just going to google and using the online dictionary. I use to have to do that all the time but now I can just click on the dictionary in firefox and go!

Yeah I keep on using the dictionary in firefox specially if I am not sure how to spell a certain word. It keeps my word done easier.

I think they should implement a thesauraus on there as well. That would be a great idea. Something to go along with the dictionary.

Thanks for this post! I am a longtime Firefox user and never realized this add-on existed.

Yup its is very useful. Before switching to firefox I always have embarrassingly typographical errors whenever I post in forums such as this one.

Well mikego, you could still use some external software to check spelling errors on IE. Have you heard about wordweb?

I never really use the dictionary a lot but it would be nice to just have it around because we just don't know when it could come in handy.

I'm not using the dictionary feature...glad to hear it exists. Because now I'll have something else to check out ;)
