There are some sites I need the pop ups to work on. How is the best way to filter them?

You need to go to;
tools->options->privacy.
There you will see a check box for accept all cookies. Uncheck that.
Then go to exceptions. There you can input the list of sites you want to allow cookies from, and set it as allow, rather than just for a session. Hit apply and you are good to go.

I tried that but it seems as if I still don't get what I Want. I don't know if my pop enabler is automatically being disabled or what.

Those are the directions for allowing cookies. Pop-ups are different. For pop-ups, go to tools-options-content. There you will see block pop-up windows. Click on exceptions. This is where you can enter the sites you would like to allow pop-ups from.

Honestly I don't know how I misread that. That's twice in as many days-I am running a bad record here! I need to concentrate.....grrrrrr.
