Web page design in Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer
When the user connects with the window of Mozilla Firefox for internet surfing, the home page of the Firefox is similar to Internet Explorer appears on the screen. We find similar design of the browsing window of both of these web browsers.
In both of web browser like Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, we find web designing options like status bar, menu bar, location bar for entering the URL of the sites and buttons like close, maximize and minimize, scroll bar for going through the web pages, search bars and various kinds of hyper links.
Though the external design of the home page in the window of the Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer are identical in many ways, the execution of the browsing features gets varies in both of such web browsers.
The Mozilla Firefox outplays the Internet Explorer by not only its significant features like tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking, download manager, updated add-ons but also the installed and inbuilt design features. These design features are more updated and more advanced than the Internet Explorer.
On the title bar, we firstly view the name Mozilla Firefox Start Page that gives us the indication of the installing and accessing of the web page of any web site. In Internet Explorer, too, the user views the authentic name like Microsoft Internet Explorer, which shows the access and installation of the web page of any site. Here, Mozilla and Microsoft are the organization, which inspect and maintain the performance and updating of the web browsing versions of the Firefox and Internet Explorer.
At the beneath of the title bar of the home page of the Mozilla Firefox, there is the location of the Menu bar which is categorized into various sub menus. Likewise the Mozilla Firefox, in Internet Explorer also we find the Menu bar below the Title bar of the web browsing home page. In both Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, the Menu bar is categorized into sub menus like File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools and Help menu.
However, we see the designing differences at the Location bar between these two web browsers. In IE, the term like Address bar is replaced by Location bar in Mozilla Firefox. In the Firefox, the designing of the Location bar is more advanced and incorporated with various features like hyperlinks and search engines options.
In the Firefox, the Location bar and Toolbar are designed with one and not separate toolbar. At the below of the Menu bar, we see the Location bar which is located in the middle order. At the left side of the Location bar of Mozilla Firefox, the hyperlinks like Go back, Go forward, Reloading of the current page, Stop loading of the page and the symbol of the Home button are located.
At the right side of the Location bar, we see the designs of the down black arrow and green arrow that assists the user for viewing the previous websites that has been visited and green arrow starts the net browsing process.
In Internet Explorer web page, we find separate Address bar, which is used to enter the URLs of the websites. Also such address bar or Location bar is supported with down arrow which is used to view the URL address of various websites which has been visited by the user earlier. In addition, there is a button called as a Go, which is used to start the net accessing process for any particular site. In IE, the address bar is also supported with options like Links.
