Tabs of Options feature in Mozilla Firefox
In Mozilla Firefox, the term like Options, is located at the bottom of Help menu in Mozilla Firefox window. This term like Options is replaced by the term like Internet Options Internet Explorer. It is very instrumental for the Firefox user to know about the location, application and web browsing features of this Firefox term Options.
Options with its tabs: After clicking on the Options of Tools menu in Firefox, the Options dialog box appears on the screen. This Option box is incorporated with various tabs, which are located in the box in a horizontal serial order like Main, Tabs, Content, Feeds, Privacy, Security and Advanced. Every tab performs a vital role with its significant features, which are useful for web browsing.
Main tab: When the Firefox user clicks on the Main tab, it displays the new window containing options like Startup, Downloads and System Defaults of Main tab.
Startup in Main tab: This option provides the information to the user about the design of the home page of Firefox window. By using this Startup option, the user can always start the Firefox web-browsing window with its favorite web page, blank page or the previous web page, which has been recently visited by the user. In this Startup option, the user can see the link of the web page, which has been selected by him as a home page of Firefox window.
The Startup feature of the Mozilla Firefox is also designed with buttons like Use Current Page, Use Bookmarks and Restore to Bookmark. When the user selects the button like Use Bookmarks, he can make it as the home page of the Firefox web-browsing window. Also while selecting the bookmarks as a home page; if the user selects the Bookmark folder, then it will open in tabs.
Downloads in Main tab: The second feature in the Options tab of the Firefox Help menu is the feature like Downloads. This option or function is incorporated with downloading files when the user downloads any file from the internet. Then this function gives him exact status of the downloading process.
In addition, this Downloads function is incorporated with message like closing the Downloads option, when the downloading process is finished. Also, by using this Downloads function, the user can save the downloading files not only to the desktop but also on any drive of the system. Also before saving the downloading files on any location, the user can check the Downloads function and change according to its convenience.
System defaults in Main tab: The third function of the Main tab of the Option from Tools menu is System Defaults. By using this Downloads function, the user can set the Mozilla Firefox as a default browser. Also it is included with Check Now button, which makes sure the user that really the Firefox browsing version is installed by default or not.
Tabs Options of Firefox: The second feature of the Options from Tools menu is Tabs. This Tabs function opens with various web browsing options and instructions. By using this function, the Mozilla Firefox user can open new web pages of various sites in a new window or a tab.
Also, the user has to select the relevant dialog, which is inbuilt in the Tabs function. The user can select these messages according to his convenience and run or activate it on Firefox window. This Tabs option is incorporated with dialogs related to the warning for user for turning of multiple tabs, warning for multiple tab opening, which may affect the speed of Firefox. It also contains dialogs like view of tab bar and switching of a link, while opening it in a new tab.
