Structure of Menu bar in Firefox and IE
Both of these browsers are incorporated with identical menus. Only in spite of Favorites in Internet Explorer, Bookmarks is available in Mozilla Firefox. There are total seven menus are present in the Mozilla Firefox such as File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools and Help. On other hand, the Menu bar in IE is incorporated with only six menus.
File menu in Firefox and IE: The first content of the File menu of Firefox is the command like New Window that is activated with Ctrl + N shortcut command. By utilizing such command, the Firefox user can access new window for accessing the internet. Therefore, the user can access the separate web page for the separate website.
New Window and New command: On contrary, in Internet Explorer, the user can find only New command, which does not contain any shortcut directly in the File menu. If you just hold on the mouse on such New command, it displays with another sub-menu carrying the shortcut of the Window command such as Ctrl + N. It is incorporated with message, post, call and internet command.
New Tab with Ctrl+T: The second command in the File menu of the Mozilla Firefox is the New Tab. By using this command, the Firefox user can open new window for accessing the new website. It makes the web accessing more distinguished for its tabbing future. This command in the Mozilla Firefox is incorporated with Ctrl + T. On other hand, this function is absent in the Internet Explorer. If the user wants to access new site in the IE, he has to open only new window of the IE web browser.
The Mozilla Firefox is handy and user- friendly as the user can access separate websites in the original window by opening the tabs. It really saves the time of the Firefox user for web browsing.
Multiple Tabs In Mozilla Firefox: If the Mozilla Firefox user is activating more than one tab for accessing the new web page of Mozilla Firefox, and surfing several sites through Firefox browser; then while closing the Firefox window, he has to close all the tabs of that alternate web pages of the Firefox.
While closing such multiple tabs, the Firefox display the dialog box, which warns the Firefox user about closing the multiple types of tabs. Therefore, the Firefox user only has to click on the Close tabs button. If the user wants to continue with tabbed browsing for surfing the internet, then he can select the Cancel button.
Open Location in Firefox: The next command in the File menu of the Mozilla Firefox is the Open Location, which is incorporated with the shortcut key such as Ctrl + L. By utilizing this command, the Firefox user can view all the links, web addresses and URLs of the sites, which is located in the Location bar of Mozilla Firefox.
Open in IE: On other hand, in Internet Explorer, Open command is available with shortcut like Ctrl + O. By utilizing this command in IE, the user can access all the URLs, web addresses, links of the other sites. When the user goes through this command, the dialog box of the Open command will display on the screen. This dialog box is incorporated with the Location bar by which the user can view the accessed URLs, links and local drives of your system hard disk.
