However, sometimes you do not want other users to view the same information from your computer. For that Mozilla Firefox provides “Private Browsing” option allows user to browse internet without saving any history. Turn on this setting from Tools- “start Privacy setting” browsing option. When you turn on or turn off this setting it will alert you before making changes to your privacy settings.

You may have experienced unwanted advertisement or any other unwanted content flashed while you are working on internet. This content sometime closes the window automatically which we need. You can disable these irritable pop-ups or quiz windows which appear when you are browsing on internet. Go to Tools you will see the last menu item as ‘options’. When you click on options a window appears with seven tabs. Go to content and select the checkbox called ‘block pop-up window’. By enabling this setting you can get rid of pop-up windows. If you have already installed software’s like Pop-Up Stopper, EndPopups or Popup Killer then you don’t need to do the setting. The software will automatically do the necessary setting for you.
If you wish to keep track of websites, which you visit for few days; Firefox will keep the history of the time you specify. By default Mozilla Firefox keeps record of the visited websites for 90 days. You can view your recent downloads if you do the necessary setting. You can turn off this option, if you think it’s not necessary for you and thus save your time.
