Mozilla Thunderbird- the new kid on the block that is overtaking veterans
If you thought that Mozilla software applications were restricted to Internet browsers like Mozilla Firefox alone, then think again. I am sure you must have heard of Mozilla Thunderbird. If not, then let me enlighten you. Mozilla Thunderbird is an email application. It allows you to receive and send emails. I see the dawn of recognition on your face. It is a mail application. That is right!! However, it is not just any other mail application. It is one of the best around.
As is the hallmark of all Mozilla applications, all popular features are incorporated in a manner that makes them more convenient to use.
Mozilla Thunderbird supports IMAP and POP mail protocols. As is obvious, this support has to exist for the software application to be as popular as it is today. It supports HTML mail formatting as well. We all know what this means, don’t we?? This means that you can use features like
• Bold
• Italic
• Underline
• Indent
• Bullets
• Font color
• Font
• Font size
to enhance the effectiveness of your mail.
Mozilla Thunderbird incorporates RSS capabilities within itself. This feature is similar to the tabbing feature and the inbuilt spy ware and pop up blocker feature. The point I am trying to make is that this feature has been incorporated while keeping the needs and requirements of thousands and thousands of users of the World Wide Web in mind. No longer do we need to download external software applications to enjoy RSS capabilities. All we need to do is to install Mozilla Thunderbird in our computers. The rest takes care of itself. Mozilla Thunderbird protects your computer from email scams that attempt to procure your password using illegal means. That is what I called advanced security. In all Mozilla Thunderbird gives you the perfect email experience.
