Mozilla Firefox Plugins & Why You Need Them
After you install Firefox for the first time there are some add-ons that you may already be using with Internet Explorer that aren't automatically set up in Firefox. Common ones are video players, music players and flash web animation. In this article I will tell you which plugins you need and how to get them.
Mozilla has a page dedicated to plugins. From here you can download any plugin you might need and get more information about them. Here's the link:
I personally recommend that you download and install these plugins:
Flash Plugin:
This plugin allows Firefox to display Flash animation
QuickTime Plugin
This plugin allows you to play videos in firefox
RealPlayer:
If you like to use Realplayer to view videos you can download this one.
Windows Media Player Plugin:
This will let Firefox use Windows Media Player to view videos and music
