Menu bar functions in the Mozilla Firefox
The web page design of the home page of the web browser like Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer is almost same excluding the position of the Location bar which is exactly at the middle stage of the hyperlinks like back, forward, reload, home and the search bar containing list of plenty of search engines. On contrary, in Internet Explorer, there is the separate position for the Location bar for inserting the URLs of the website. However, the Menu bar of the Firefox and Internet Explorer contain identical functions.
New Window and New Tab: In the File menu, the first option is called as New Window, which is particularly used to display the fresh window of the Firefox. By accessing this function, the user can see the new home page of Firefox. In addition, these menus also contain the option like New Tab, which is mainly used to open or display the fresh tab in the existing window or home page of the Mozilla Firefox.
Open Location and Open File: The third option is the Open Location, which is highly instrumental to type new URL of any particular site and browsing the web pages of site. The fourth option in the File menu is the Open File. It is used to show the dialog box of Open File in which the user can not only select a file from the local disks but also select it while accessing the network. Also this function is instrumental to see various files in the Mozilla Firefox like HTML or XML, image files, files in word format and many more.
Close (Window) and Close Tab: The fifth option in the File menu is the Close button, which is also called as Close (Window). The main function of this option is to close or turn off the existing web page in the Firefox. The sixth option in the File menu is the option called as Close Tab. By operating this function, the users not only exit from the existing tab but also select the next tab.
Save Page As: The seventh option in the File menu of the Firefox is Save Page As. By using this function, the user can save his existing web pages, which he is browsing. Also by using this function, he can make his previous browsing records up to date. This function assists user for saving the images, wallpapers, printing pages and helps him for saving the downloading material. Also by using this function, the user of Firefox saves the complete web page, which is incorporating graphic image, HTML and text document.
Send Link: The remaining of the options of File menu of Firefox is the option called as Send Link. By using this function, the user can access the window having the email composition. Hence, by accessing the email dialog box through email program of the system, which is by default; the user can effortlessly mail a message by using a link to the existing web page.
Page Setup: The next function in the File menu of the Mozilla Firefox is the Page Setup. By using such function, the user can adjust the size in terms of length, width, margins, headers, footers of the web page. This option assists you to give the preview of the web page in Firefox before taking the print of such page.
The menu bar in Firefox window is the primary step in the web browsing. By utilizing this menu, the user is facilitated with a sound knowledge of how to open and exit from the Firefox window or any existing web page. In addition, it helps to make additional browsing applications like tabbed browsing, web page setup and saving options.
