How to create, rename and remove the profiles in the Mozilla Firefox
In the Help and Tutorial section of the Firefox Support, we can facilitate with the Profile option of the Mozilla Firefox web browser. In the option like Profile, the personal information about any net user can be saved in such profile option. This personal information contains bookmarks, passwords and preferences of the net users. Therefore, in Mozilla Firefox, such personal information is saved in a set of files, which is called as profile.
In Mozilla Firefox, such profile option is positioned in a distinct location from the program files of the Mozilla Firefox. By using such web browser, a net user can make numerous profiles for saving his personal information. In addition, they can activate only one profile at one time.
These multiple types of profiles and management regarding the profiles are the updated features from Mozilla Firefox, which are intentionally developed for the web developers excluding extension developers and other advanced web users. By using the function like Profile Manger in the Firefox, the net users can make, eradicate and rename their profiles.
Making a new profile in Firefox: For making any new profile in the Mozilla Firefox, the net user firstly start up the option like Create Profile Wizard and then click on the option like Create Profile, which is situated in the profile manager. Then click on the option like Next and go through the name of the profile by typing the new name. The net user should use the profile name, which is descriptive like your personal name. Such name is not uncovered on the internet by any web browser.
Also in the Mozilla Firefox, the net user has freedom for selecting the storing position of the profile. Therefore, that freedom really assists for transferring the data. It facilitates you to change your profile settings to set up of another computer. For selecting the storage location, the net user can select option like Choose folder.
If the custom location is selected by the net user for the profile, then he can store it in the latest folder in Mozilla Firefox. So at the time of eradicating the profiles, the contents which are situated in the similar folder are got removed. For creating the new profile, the net user can click on the option like Finish. So in such case, the new profile is being showed in the option like Profile Manger.
Removal of Profile in Firefox: By clicking on the option like Delete Profile, which is situated in the Profile Manager, the net user can remove its profile. Firstly, he has to select the profile, which he wants to eradicate. Then confirm finally that you are going to remove such profile. So the option like Don’t Delete Files is used to eradicate the profile from the profile manager. However, it does not mean that all your stored information is removed from the data files in the profile.
While deleting the profiles, the data files that are stored in the old profile can copy on the new profile folder. Therefore, it assists to store old information in the latest profile. The option like Delete Files facilitate us for removing the profiles with its containing files like passwords, bookmarks, settings, etc.
Rename a profile in Mozilla Firefox: In the menu like Profile Manager, firstly you have to select the profile which you really want to rename. Then you can click on the option like Rename Profile. After clicking type the latest profile name and click on option like OK. So finally the renamed profile will be stored in the Profile Manger.
