Firefox File menu with commands and shortcuts
In the previous article, we went through the commands such as New Window, New Tab and New Location with their respective shortcut keys such as Ctrl + N, Ctrl + T, Ctrl + L. All these command are incorporated in the File menu of the Mozilla Firefox.
File- Open File- Ctrl+ O: The next command in File menu is Open File, which is located in File menu with shortcut key like Ctrl+ O. When the Firefox user presses the key, the window having title Open File displays on the screen. Therefore, by using this command, the Firefox user can access any file on any location of the hard disk. By using this command, we can access any location of the system. This command is useful storage for the downloading and accessing web data. The user can use this data by opening the location through this command.
In addition, the most significant is that user can access and utilize this file while browsing the internet. In addition, he can modify and make some editing changes in that particular file by using the internet browsing data. Therefore, by pressing such shortcut key, he can save his browsing time and easily go through his desirable file.
File – Close Window- Ctrl+ Shift + W: This command is located in the File menu of the Mozilla Firefox. By using this command Ctrl+ Shift + W, the net user can close the window of the Firefox and conclude his net accessing process.
When the user presses such above-mentioned key to close the Firefox window, the Firefox web browser displays the dialog box on the screen. This dialog box display the current condition of the tabs, which are in process. Therefore, by selecting the button such as Close Tab, the Firefox user concludes the browsing process and turn off the Firefox window.
In spite of selecting such button, the user can press Cancel button to resume the web browsing on Firefox. Therefore, this dialog box is one kind of warning which keep away the Firefox user from improper concluding or shutting down process of Firefox window.
File- Close Tab- Ctrl + W: This command is located in the File menu of the Mozilla Firefox is activated by using the shortcut key Ctrl + W, which is used for closing the tabs. By using this command, the Firefox user can conclude the web browsing process and window of Mozilla Firefox. If the Firefox user is accessing more than one web page or web windows of Mozilla Firefox, then by using the Close Tab command, he can close the Firefox window one after another.
File- Save Page As- Ctrl + S: This is one of the largely used commands by any web user. In Firefox, this command like Save Page As is located in the File menu with shortcut key like Ctrl + S. Therefore, by using this command, the Firefox user can save his web page, image, link, URL of any web site, setup of any web application or software, downloading date in any form from the internet. This command with its location and its shortcut is found in every web browser.
Menu-Send Link: This is the command of the File menu of Mozilla Firefox. The Send File command does not possesses any shortcut key in the web page of the Mozilla Firefox. The main objective of this command is to endow the Firefox user with link of the web page, which he is accessing. Also the user in Firefox also gets the link of the URL of any web site, downloading file, image and many more.
