Cooliris Previews 2.6.4: This add-on provides an easy way to preview videos, images, and links without even clicking them. If you have done some Yahoo or Google image search, you can view all those image results in the form of a slideshow. In addition, you can customize the way you view the slideshow, by setting the time delay, position etc. With just one click, you can send those links to whomever you want. While reading an article if you want to find the meaning of some word in Google or Wikipedia, just click on that particular word.
Firefox Universal Uploader: This handy extension allows you to upload files or download them from any website. Be it Facebook, YouTube, Picasa, etc., you can use this extension with all of them. Through this interface, you can upload any number of files that you want to. In addition, it shows the upload progress i.e., the status of your upload procedure and how much more time will be required. In addition, by using only this extension, you can load files to a number of websites simultaneously. This extension is very basic and has not been developed completely so user feedback is encouraged to improve it.
Flagfox 3.2.7: If you want to know to which country, does the website that you are viewing belong to then you can use Flagfox. Flagfox displays a small flag icon in the website’s status bar indicating the country in which this website’s server is located. It requires very little sources to do this job and it does not rely higher-level domain roots such as .us or .edu. When you click on the flag icon, an application called Geotool is loaded which provides you with the location’s map as well as the Internet Service Provider. This extension works with all versions of Firefox from 1.5 to 3.0.
Mini Map Sidebar 0.3.0: This particular extension provides you with a set of tools for mapping and a number of built in maps. This extension consists of three components of which the sidebar is of utmost importance. You can drag and drop addresses or web links in this sidebar and they will be located and saved to your address list. The second component is the Preview Panel, which you can use to see the addresses or links without saving any of them. The third component is the Map Tab, which allows you to view a larger map. These three components can be accessed via the Toolbar button.
Launchy 4.2.0: This extension allows you to open mailto’s and links using external applications. It supports browsers like IE, Mozilla Firefox, and media players like BSPlayer etc.
Slogger: This add-on keeps a record of your entire browsing history. It saves every page that you visit.
Download Statusbar 0.9.6.3: This add-on allows you to manage your downloads from a statusbar without the download window coming in your way. This statusbar is very compact and neat and consists of more useful features in comparison to the download window. It is fully customizable and you can auto hide it when you don’t want it.
Image Toolbar 0.6.5: Using this extension you can save, copy or print an image with a single click. The Internet Explorer boasts of a similar toolbar.
Linky 2.7.1: This extension helps you to handle links in a better way. You can open a link if you want to, then download it, you can also validate it in a window. You can do similar stuff with pictures too.
ScrapBook: Another extension, which helps you save web pages easily, is ScrapBook. This add-on is multilingual, fast, and accurate. You can save an entire website or a small part of a webpage or an entire web page.
