Bookmarks and favorites-Web terminology difference

Browsing contents of window: The browsing window of the both browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer contain identical toolbars like Title bar, Menu bar, Toolbar, main web page and Status bar. However, among these browsing toolbars, there is a major difference on the Menu bar.

Bookmarks or Favorites: Yes, on the menu bar of the Mozilla Firefox, the user is facilitated with menu like Bookmarks. On contrary, in IE, the users are facilitated with menu like Favorites. Most of the users have a habit to utilize the Favorite menu for web browsing applications. However, if we compare it with Bookmarks of Mozilla Firefox, it is more advanced and highly user-friendly.

Activation of Bookmarks in Mozilla Firefox: this Bookmarks menu is located on the Menu bar of the Mozilla window. This is the 5th menu from the left of the Mozilla Firefox window. The Firefox users can select this Bookmark menu in two ways, which is mentioned below.

The Firefox users can just click on the Bookmarks menu and it appears with pop-up menu containing various commands. The user can select this Bookmarks menu by using the mouse.

Secondly, there is a shortcut to activate or select the pop-up menu of Bookmarks menu. The user firstly has to select the Bookmarks by pressing Alt key on keyboard. Then, by pressing the B on the keyboard, the pop-up menu appears in the Firefox window. The user should be noted that every menu in Firefox window id designed with underlined alphabet. This is the shortcut key to activate the menu. For instance, in Firefox window, in Tools menu of Firefox window, T is underlined. So just, select it and press T to activate the Tools menu automatically.
