For this you just have to enter an appropriate keyword in place of an URL in the location bar and click enter or the search button. While searching, Firefox will check the page titles, addresses, and tags as well.
To many this may not sound like a significant addition, however in reality it is a very useful addition. This is because the list of bookmarks goes on increasing and after some time it becomes difficult even to find your desired website even from this list. Therefore, of searching it in the list or remembering the URL, you can just enter a suitable keyword and you get that website.
One more subtle change in Mozilla Firefox 3 is that the download manager is able to resume the stopped downloads. There are times when you need to shut down your pc or stop the download, when you have not completely downloaded the file or program. Moreover, there is a nifty zoom menu option, which will allow you to resize the whole page or just the text below the page. There is also a password saver which unlike the other web browsers allows you to first log in successfully and then asks you whether you want to save your credentials or not.
When we speak about security, which has been the main advantage of Firefox and the basic reason for its growing popularity over internet explorer, it has a lot to offer. Firefox version 3 will automatically block sites that are known to be associated with malware. This will be based on the blacklist created and maintained by Google. Moreover, it also blocks the phishing sites.
One more security related feature is that it will support the extended validation certificates. This enables you to know if the site that you are viewing attempts to verity the site owner’s identity. In such cases, you will see a large green colored button that has the name of that company on the left side of the location bar.
In addition to all this, Mozilla Firefox claims that even if Firefox provides you all these features it will use less memory resources of your computer. Therefore, it can process fast, the other programs running simultaneously.
