Tabbed browsing in Mozilla Firefox freed surfers from the dreary life of IE

Before the Firefox web browsing software application came along, the end users of web browsing software applications had to accommodate their requirements and their expectations according to the limitations imposed by the developers of the web browsing software applications.

Before the Firefox web browsing software applications came along, the tabbed browsing feature was not as a popular as it is today. The individual end user of the web browsing software application had to open new windows of the web browser for each and every new page that he or she wanted to open.

Either the individual had to open new windows or the individual had to work on a single web site at a given point of time. Now no web browsing software application permitted the individual to open a large number of windows.

If the end user tried to open a large number of windows and work on the same, the web browsing software application would crash and the end user would be compelled to reboot the system.

Irrespective of the configuration of the computer of the individual, he or she had to follow the limitations imposed by the developers of the web browsing software application. Before the Firefox web browsing software application came along, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer web browsing software application was the most popular web browser. The limitations imposed by the Microsoft’s Internet Explorer were stifling the end users.

They did not have any viable alternative. However, once the Firefox web browsing software application came along, the end users tasted the joys of unlimited and unrestrained use of the web browsing software application. The presence of the tabbed browsing feature in the Firefox web browsing software application drastically altered the whole scenario.

While any and every end user of the Microsoft’s Internet Explorer web browsing software application could work on just one website or one webpage in a single window of the web browsing software application, the end user of the Firefox web browsing software application could work on multiple websites or multiple web pages in a single window of the Firefox web browser.

A single page could contain unlimited tabs. Of course, opening too many tabs slowed down the computer of the end user. However, rarely is the surfer required to open more than a dozen tabs at a given point of time. If the individual wants to open more tabs, he or she could always open a new window of the Firefox web browsing software application. The tabbed browsing feature freed the end user from the limitations imposed by other web browsing software applications.

With the Firefox web browsing software application around, the individual could surf more than fifty web pages at a single point of time without any problems whatsoever. All the individual had to do was open ten tabs in a single window and open five windows in all. This was sufficient for the individual to surf fifty web pages at the same point of time. No other web browsing software application offered this fantastic feature. Of course, the latest version of the Internet Explorer web browsing software application offers the tabbed browsing feature.

However, considering the fact that the Internet Explorer browser is a lot bulkier than Mozilla Firefox, it is not possible for an individual to work on as many as fifty tabs at the same point of time. The release of Mozilla Firefox was just the tonic that the surfers of the World Wide Web had been waiting for years.

The Firefox web browser freed the end users from the bondage of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. With tabbed browsing around, the end user could take on the World Wide Web from a position of strength.
