So whenever Firefox blocks any popup window, an icon is displayed in the status bar. When you click on this icon, it will show a breakup of popup windows that were stopped by Firefox when loading current web page. If you want, you can allow some of popups to be displayed.

When you access the Web, a lot of time goes in looking for things. But with Firefox, there is no issue, as it has the best built in search functions. When you press Ctrl +K, you will go to Google bar. Just enter the topic you are searching and hit Enter button to use the Google search engine.

Firefox's amazing collection of useful smart keywords will enable you to look words in dictionary easily. Just check the stock quotes to make things easier. If you find that they are not enough, you can always create your own.

Your privacy is extremely important. Firefox allows you to keep a track of the sites you have visited, files and cookies that you have downloaded and so on. If you don't want anyone else to know about the websites that you have visited, you can always clear these things by choosing tools options from privacy panel. In case, you are using a shared or a public computer, still you can clear the stored data with a single mouse click. It is that simple. Besides, preventing popup windows, it also has the ability to stop other actions that annoy you such as the status bar tricks.
