Mozilla Firefox offers a stable security setup on which the end users can build their own structure

The Firefox web browsing software application has taught the end users to be very conscious of their security while surfing the Internet. Of course, that is not to say that the end users of the web browsing software application were not security conscious before the Firefox web browsing software application came along.

However, the Firefox web browsing software application was the first web browser that offered control and independence to the end users themselves. For the first time in the history of the web browsing software application, here was a web browser that trusted the end users as individuals who were capable enough of handling their own security requirements on their own.

Until the Firefox web browsing software application came along, there were two types of web browsers. One category of web browsers, which included the Microsoft’s Internet Explorer web browsing software application, worked on the presumption that the end users ought to be treated with care and handled with caution.

According to such web browsers, the end users of the web browsing software application were incapable of handling important aspects of the functioning of the web browser on their own. According to them, the onus was upon the developers to ensure that the web browsing experience of the end users was secure.

In short, the developers did not consider the end users to be capable enough to contribute in important matters related to the web browsing software application. The other category of web browsing software application included those web browsers that were not security conscious at all.

Under the pretext of enhancing the web browsing experience of the end users, these web browsing software applications ignored security and put the computer of the end users at risk. Hence, at one end, we had web browsers that wanted to monopolize the issue of security while the other end consisted of web browsers that were not security conscious at all.

The end users of the web browsing software application had a very unsatisfactory experience with both types of web browsing software applications. The Firefox web browsing software application came as a relief for such end users.

The Firefox web browser took up the task of providing the basic security features and security measures to the end users upon itself. However, the Firefox web browser did not stop there.

It went ahead and encouraged the end users to innovate and modify the web browsing software application to suit his or her security requirements. This step reassured the end users that they could step up and take charge of their own security without fear of completely destroying the web browsing software application.

Further, even if the end users did not modify the security setup of the Firefox web browser, they would still have enjoyed the safety and security offered by the Firefox web browser itself. The developers of the Firefox web browser had struck gold.

The judicious mix of independence and control has become the hallmark trait of the Firefox web browsing software application. It is almost as if the developers knew to what extent should they cede control to the end users and to what extent should they retain control in their own hands.

The end result is that we have a web browsing software application that is not only the safest web browser around but is also the web browser that is recognized as the safest web browser around. That is to say, the developers of the Firefox web browser have not only achieved the task of creating a secure web browser but have also succeeded in selling this fact to the end users.
