Mozilla Firefox has not forgotten to incorporate the ‘print web pages’ feature in its web browser!!!

Mozilla Firefox offers the facility of printing the web page that is being viewed using the Mozilla Firefox web browser. With so much of information available on the internet, the end user may often find it essential to download some web pages and store it on the hard drive of the computer for future reference. It is not possible for the end user to enjoy access to a computer at all times. In such a scenario, taking a print out to convert the soft copy into a hard copy is advisable. That is why the end users enjoy the facility of printing the saved web pages. Just like a word processing software application, the Firefox web browser offers the facility of

• Previewing the information to be printed, and

• Printing the same

The print preview feature ensures that the printed web page fits the specifications of the end user. Many a times, the end user is not a position to take advantage of the printed web page because the quality of the print or the formatting of the web page was not satisfactory. If Mozilla Firefox is used to print web pages, the end user will not face any problem at all. It is very easy to configure the page setup of the web page if you are using Mozilla Firefox. The options available to the end users are very similar to those offered by word processing software applications. Hence, any person who has used a word processor will find it very easy to configure the page setup of the webpage to be printed.

You can start printing after keying in the printing specifications, which include

• Whether you want to print in the webpage in the portrait mode or the landscape mode,

• Whether you want to print the web page as per the predetermined margin or as per the user defined margin.

• Whether you want the web page to be printed in color or whether you want the webpage to be printed in grayscale

• Whether you want a high resolution print or whether a low resolution print will do

Mozilla Firefox offers a lot of choices and options for the end user to choose from. This ensures that the final print of the web page is an exact replica of the image that the end user had in mind. If a web browsing software application does not offer this feature of taking accurate and reflective prints of the web pages to all its users, there is no doubt that such a web browser will not be a very popular web browser.

After making all the necessary changes in the print configuration, the end user can start printing. However, you have the option of taking a look at the effects of the changes that you have made to the print configuration. You can do this by using the Print Preview option in Mozilla Firefox. The print preview option in Mozilla Firefox enables you to preview the web page and find out how the web page will look after it is printed. If you find in the preview satisfactory, you can go ahead and start printing. However, if you do not find it satisfactory, you can revert to the print configuration to make the suitable changes.

It is interesting to note that Mozilla Firefox has not ignored these rather unglamorous and pedantic features in its web browser despite offering many revolutionary features to the end users. Mozilla Firefox is aware that the task of grading the features lies upon the end user and not upon the developers. No amount of revolutionary features will satisfy the users if these unglamorous but essential features are ignored. That is the reason why this feature is an integral part of the Mozilla Firefox web browser.
