Is it very easy to troubleshoot Firefox?
If your Firefox is giving your problem then an easy way to resolve it would be by creating private data. Firefox sometimes takes a lot of time to load web pages. In such a situation, you can clear Firefox's cache, cookies and the download history. For doing this, you will have to open Clear private data window. You can open this window by clicking on tools menu and then choosing clear private data option. Now press the clear private data buttton and the data will be cleared.
Sometimes issues with Firefox can easily get solved by restarting Firefox. This is a very simple solution to solve Firefox problems. It is also an effective method and you may not actually see the problem when you open the browser again. Another useful way to resolve issues would be to troubleshoot themes and extensions. Many a times, it is observed that Firefox is functioning smoothly but after installing extensions, problems do occur.In such circumstances, uninstalling these extensions would be a right decision.
To know whether the themes are causing problems, you will have to open it in Safe mode. For opening it in safe mode, first close it down completely. Go to terminal and thern choose the run option and type a term given below: path/to/firefox/firefox -safe-mode.

If you don't see the problem in safe then it is but obvious that extensions are like the cause. You can either troubleshoot them or remove them, whichever you find simpler.
If plugins are causing the problem, then you need to disable them. Plugins like Java, Flash, Adobe reader, Windows media player are popular Firefox plugins and sometimes can cause a lot of problems. For disabling these plugins, you will have to open Add-ons window, locate the tools menu, click on it and then select add-ons. Find the plugins icon which is at the top of Add-ons window. Now click each plugin that is in the list . You have to then click on disable button. Now test whether the problem is still occuring.
Another effective way to solve the problem is to create new profile. A corrupt profile does cause a lot of problems with Firefox. So it would better to make new profile. Once you have created new profile, you can copy all your data that includes saved passwords and bookmarks to this new profile. Click on newly created profile that is in profile and then click on start Firefox button. Most probably, you will not encounter with new profile. It is essential that you recover important data from old profile
If by doing the above steps, your problem doesn't get solved then you will probably get a solution by downloading Firefox installer from none other than Mozilla.com and then closing down Firefox. You will also have delete Firefox application folder and then again install Firefox. If all the above mentioned troubleshooting steps don't work then it is obvious that you will get irritated. In such cases, downloading the recent version of Firefox is the only option. Downloading Firefox from unofficial sites would be real foolishness as it is invitation to spyware and malware. These sites bundle Firefox browser with other software which is sometimes nothing but malware.
You could always reinstall these extensions one by one and find out if any specific extension is causing Firefox problem. Subsequently, you can remove the problem.
