Instructions before Installing and Uninstalling Firefox
Mozilla firefox is a Web Browser developed by Mozilla Corporation. Firefox is a easy, flexible and very user-friendly Browser. It is safe and secure. This article deals with the ways to install and uninstall Mozilla firefox application on your computers.
Mozilla Corporation’s firefox is one of the best Web Browser in the world. It is a very flexible, easy to use and very user-friendly Browser. It is fully loaded with dozens of features and it provides excellent security to the users while browsing. It has won an international award for one the west browser in the world.
Following are the instructions during the download of installation
1) For windows: - Once the user has downloaded the Mozilla firefox setup form the net after that he user has to click on the Firefox Setup 1.0.7.exe installer twice to start the install.
2) For Mac OS X: - firstly, the user should download the Mozilla firefox 1.0.7 dmg file. After the downloading is done then the user should double click the firefox disk, then user should image to open it in finder and after that he should drag the Firefox application on the hard disk and the user should drag it wherever he wants the application to be placed. In addition, the user should not double click on the icon in the disk image. The user should make sure to drag the firefox application out of the disk image and then on the hard disk before running the application. Then the user should drag it where he/she wants.
3) Linux/GTK2: - the first step the user should do is that he/she should extract tarball and then run the installer. Followings are the steps on how to run the installer: - tar -xzvf firefox-1.0.7.installer.tar.gz; cd firefox-installer. /firefox-installer. If a user has Nautilus set up to run the Executable Text Files then the user just needs to double click on the firefox installer to make it run.
In order, if the user wants to remover firefox from his computer he should perform the following steps: -
1) For windows: - firstly, the user should click the control panel from the start Menu. When the control appears, the user should click twice on the Add/Remove programs and a list of programs appears. After that, the user should find "Mozilla Firefox (1.0.7)" in that list and click on the remove button in order to uninstall and there is a uninstallation shield, which guides the user for further instructions.
2) For Mac OS X: - All the user needs to do just simply Drag the application in the Trash and the application will be remover form the computer.
3) For others: - For the others the user needs to remove the application folder. If the user wants to remove his/her profile then, he will need to remove the location described in the Profile Folder. By taking, such an action all the bookmarks, password settings and other information will be removed form the computer permanently.
