With Firefox, there is no need of remembering or noting down the long and difficult names of websites, which you find interesting. All the websites, WebPages are archived in the library of Firefox and this is done automatically, you do not need to bother about it. Your bookmarks also are stored in the same library. Therefore, in the future whenever you need any of these you can easily search for them. In this library, you can arrange all the websites in a systematic manner.

The Firefox library contains a dynamic smart folder, in which the websites that you need frequently are stored. This folder automatically updates your list of bookmarks and thus your history keeps on growing automatically.

Tags

Many websites, which you need frequently, have long names and therefore you find them inconvenient to type in the search box each time. However, with the latest version of Firefox you do not need to do this. It provides you the facility of tagging the websites. Because of this feature, you can tag your favorite website with tags, which are simple, short, and easy to remember.

For example for news websites like nytimes.com, bbc.co.uk, etc, you can put the tag “news”. Then the next time you want to access these websites, you just need to type in tags and the links for both these websites will appear on the screen. Just click on one of the links and the website will open. Note that you can tags more than one websites with the same tag. Therefore in the above-mentioned example you can tag both of them with the same tag i.e. news. In the future you just need to enter tag “news” in the search box and both of these websites will b e displayed in the search results.

A smart location bar

This bar provides a fast access to the websites, which you like very much and use often. The names of such websites can be long or difficult to remember. The smart location bar provides you a list of websites, which you have visited. You just have to click the website, which you want and then press enter. You will be taken to that website.

You may be making a number of searches daily and therefore you would expect that all these websites would get stored in this location bar. However, that is not so and that is the reason why it is called the smart location bar. This location bar arranges the website in a preference order. Therefore, the websites, which you need often, are placed at the top and the websites that you do not use so often are placed lower down the list.

However, if you want a website, which you do not use so often and therefore it may be somewhere below, in the list, you just have type the initials of that website. The auto complete function of the location bar will complete the name, by the best possible match from your browsing history, bookmarked websites, or the ones that you have tagged in the drop down menu.

Just one click to bookmark a page

Firefox provides you easy options to manage or create your bookmarks. For bookmarking a site, you just have to click on the star icon situated at the end of location bar. This is all and the site will be bookmarked and saved to your Firefox bookmarks.
