Bookmarks instead of Favorites

In web browser like Internet Explorer, the Favorite menu deals with only two functions such as addition and organization of the selective sites or accessed browsing data. However, in Firefox, in spite of Favorite menu, we can find menu like Bookmarks.

The designers of the Firefox window categorized the bookmark menu into four parts. Each part contains with dissimilar features, which mainly deal with collection of adorning, vital and user-friendly browsing material from the internet. So it is very beneficial for the Firefox user to make a collection of the favorite browsing material such as favorite sites with its URLs, downloading files, images, wallpapers, links, paths and many more. Therefore, by using the Bookmarks menu, the Firefox user can bookmark anything, which he likes and wants to store up as selected bookmarks.

If the Firefox user wants to bookmark any web page of any particular site, which he has been accessed, then he can firstly click on the Bookmarks menu and then click on the option like Bookmark this page. Also by using the shortcut key for this option like Ctrl + D, he can bookmark this web page.

After going through this process, there will be the display of the new folder called as Add Bookmark. Therefore, by using this dialog box, he can save his favorite web browsing material in Bookmarks or bookmark toolbar folder or Mozilla Firefox. also apart from this function, if the Firefox user wants to view the bookmark folder with its bookmarked web pages, browsing files, web images, URLs and links, paths, then he can also press Ctrl + B. By pressing such shortcut key, the Firefox user can search his bookmarked web documents, bookmarked folders according to his convenience.

So Bookmarks menu play dual role in the Mozilla Firefox. It means it not only create a bookmarked folder but also search it when it requires. Therefore, these Bookmarks play a role of the toolbar in Firefox.

By utilizing the Bookmarks menu, the Firefox user can utilize Live bookmarks for subscribing to feeds. By using the Live Bookmark, applications like Bloglines, Yahoo and Google; the user can subscribe that web page to this feed. Therefore, after clicking on the button like Subscribe Now, the user can subscribe such bookmarked web page in his bookmarked folder.

Apart from the web pages on the Firefox window, the Firefox user can bookmark all the tabs, which is being accessed by him. By bookmarking all the tabs, he can access these tabs whenever he wants. Therefore, it makes the Firefox users to view several kinds of web pages in one Firefox window. Also by collecting them under the title of bookmarked folder, he access it whenever he wants and that really saves his net accessing time.

By using such function like Bookmark All Tabs, he can collect and organize the related links of any topic according to his convenience. After selecting this option such as Bookmark All Tabs, the dialog box displays on the screen. So the Firefox user can bookmark these tabs by giving it a suitable name and saving it in the bookmarks menu or folder like bookmark toolbar.

In addition, the Mozilla Firefox user can bookmark all the opened tabs by pressing the shortcut key like Ctrl + Shift +D. The inbuilt bookmark toolbar folder situated in the Bookmarks menu is instrumental for the Firefox net users. These folders are Windows Marketplace, Customized links and designing the home page in Firefox.
